On the bus to my therapist, from the psychiatric hospital, I imagined the roads as part of my new central nervous system.

And I started drawing.

Weirdly, while drawing this picture of myself naked, I was joined on the bus by an old friend, who didn’t know I’d been unwell – and gave me a big hug.

Which was nice.
